FreedomGRESS GmbH, based in Bremen. Technology for critical infrastructure on one side, real estate management under a German licence on the other.
Engineering, finance and AI in one team
Wind turbine systems and offshore cost structures, project finance and refinancing, Bayesian reasoning and probabilistic models. These three rarely sit together, and our work depends on all of them.
Academic grounding, not vendor claims
The methodology behind our quantitative work comes from research that has been written up and defended — published methods and stated assumptions, not vendor claims that cannot be checked.
We operate what we build
Our products run in production and we are the ones on call for them. That shapes which shortcuts we refuse to take.
Present in the industry
The company took part in WindEurope 2024 in Bilbao, where the security work behind Project 528 was first shown publicly.
European by design
Infrastructure and data stay in the European Union, and data protection is part of the design rather than a later addition.
How we work
Quantitative first
No qualitative recommendation without the numbers behind it. It is an architectural rule, not a slogan.
Uncertainty stated
A number without its uncertainty is not an assessment. We say how confident we are and on what evidence.
Reproducible where possible
Where public data and published methods exist, we use them — so a third party can check the result.
